Today’s a big day at Whole Cities Foundation. For the past 3 years, we’ve been proud to partner with local leaders across Newark who are expanding access to fresh, healthy food and nutrition education. So far, we’ve worked with 24 organizations and invested $485,000 through a community-determined grant process and by providing responsive support.
We have good news to share…
New $555,000 Newark Commitment
We are thrilled to announce a new three-year investment of $555,000 to support a thriving local food system in Newark. $450,000 will be awarded through the annual Fresh, Healthy Food Access Grant with the remainder invested to support opportunities shaped by the goals Whole Cities’ Newark grant partners. 2020 Fresh, Healthy Food Access Application Opens Today
- Newark-based organizations that are growing access to fresh, healthy food or nutrition education are invited to apply for grants up to $15,000 in support of their work.
- Please visit our website to review the eligibility requirements and start your application.
- Apply by Thursday, February 20, 2020.
