EmPOWERED to Serve™ is a movement driving health transformation in multicultural communities for improved health outcomes.   The 2020 EmPOWERED to Serve Scholar™ scholarship deadline is January 31st! COLLEGE STUDENTS, complete your application today. APPLY NOW   SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION IS EASY! Access Application Portal Create account and login Click on “EmPOWERED Scholars” on left-hand column. Select “Click here to apply for funding.” Fill out application. Click “save” (on bottom of screen). Review application and click “submit.” What you need to know: Deadline to submit is Friday, January 31 by 11:59 pm CST. 10 students will receive $10,000 scholarships. Eligibility requirements: Undergraduate college freshman, sophomores, or juniors currently enrolled in an accredited institution of higher education. All majors accepted. (Preferred) 3.0 Grade Point Average (GPA) or higher. Have done something to improve your communities’ health and wellness Application materials required: 60-second video (video requirements listed in the application portal) College Transcript (High School transcripts accepted for Freshman: unofficial transcripts are acceptable). Headshot 1 Letter of Recommendation Incomplete submissions will not be considered or reviewed.
