Subject: Earth Day at City Hall
To:

Hello Lincoln Park-based friends and partners of the Newark Sustainability Office!

I am writing with a very short-notice invitation to join the Mayor for a small ceremony honoring Earth Day at Newark City Hall on the front steps at 10:00 am this coming Tuesday, April 22nd.

Mayor Quintana plans to announce new Environmental Commissioners, celebrate sustainability achievements to date, highlight this year's tree planting work, and encourage Newark residents to recycle.

Apologies for the short notice on this. We are planning a larger, evening event for the spring to highlight the work of all our sustainability partners, so stay tuned for that.

If you can join us on Tuesday, that would be wonderful! Please feel free to forward.

Please Note: Because of a Council Special meeting beginning at 10 am, we will be starting the City Hall Earth Day ceremony at 9:30. (We will still be there at 10, so if you can’t make the earlier time, don’t worry.)

Warm regards,

Stephanie
