Happy Summer Solstice! On behalf of the Office of Sustainability, we'd like to extend a personal invitation to our upcoming Sustainability Unconference on June 26th and 27th at Rutgers University, located at Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hall (15 Washington Street, Newark, NJ).
This isn't your typical conference. It's a community-driven gathering designed to harness your unique ideas and insights, directly shaping the future of sustainability in our city. The conversations we'll have together will be instrumental in informing the next version of Newark's Sustainability Action Plan, ensuring that community voices are at the heart of our climate and environmental initiatives.
We're looking for bold, creative thinking to propel us forward. Whether your work involves clean energy, environmental justice, urban agriculture, public health, or community engagement, your perspective is absolutely essential to building a more sustainable and equitable Newark.
