Chalkbeat will soon be adding a Newark Bureau to cover city related education issues on a national scale.  

This is great news and I know the folks at Chalkbeat have put a great deal of time and thought into this expansion.

No matter where we may stand on the issues, facts are most important - and having yet another journalist in Newark will be a great value add for everyone - and hopefully strengthen the voice of the City and showcase the issues that matter to so many families.

While I am not involved in the actual search in anyway, I have been asked to help spread the word - and please feel free to forward to qualified candidates.
