I'm happy to announce I'm hosting a public lecture on my research of the greater Newark region's food system at NJIT on Tuesday April 23rd. I intend to intersperse major themes of my research with short discussion periods to better engage the audience.

Growing Greater Newark’s Urban Food System: A Framework for Community Action

 

Join John C Jones, PhD for a presentation of his recent doctoral dissertation that examined urban food entrepreneurship in the greater Newark region. His comments will focus on how community members and organizations can encourage policy change to improve the region’s food system. A discussion will follow his formal comments. All are welcome.

 

Free parking available at the NJIT parking deck on Summit Street. (Use the call box to tell public safety you are attending a lecture in Weston Hall.)
