Nicole is a mission-driven nonprofit executive, fundraising strategist, and education advocate with more than 25 years of experience leading high-impact initiatives across education, health, and community development. She currently serves as Chief Development Officer at The 74, an award-winning nonprofit newsroom dedicated to education equity and investigative journalism. In this role, she leads multimillion-dollar fundraising strategies to power essential reporting that investigates injustice, amplifies family and student voices, and drives impact in education policy and practice.
Throughout her career, Nicole has mobilized over $50 million in philanthropic, government, and corporate support. She previously served as the founding Executive Director of After-School All-Stars New Jersey, where she grew the program from four to 20 sites, serving over 2,000 students annually with cost-free, high-quality enrichment programs. Later, as Vice President of Development for the ASAS national network, she managed an $18 million fundraising budget across 19 chapters, coaching executive teams, securing national partnerships, and building financial sustainability for afterschool programs reaching more than 140,000 students nationwide.
