I visited this place last fall and found it wonderful! Acres and acres of trails, woods, birds, different plant environments. The tour guides are wonderfully informative about plants, insects, birds and wildlife.

This is a tour being sponsored by Native Plant Society, open to anyone.

Here is a description:

“February 16, from 11-12 a.m. Explore Bowman’s Hill Wildflower (BHWP) Preserve in its winter brilliance with Preserve Volunteer Naturalist Mary Anne Borge to discover the native wildflowers and trees that add interest to your yard through their fruits, seeds, color and architecture. Enjoy the quiet beauty of a walk through the woods while learning how plants provide winter food and shelter for birds and small mammals. BHWP Members: $4; Non-members: $8. Pre-registration required by Thursday, February 14. Call the Preserve at 215-862-2924 to register.”
