Rutgers is sponsoring a webinar on March 20^th  at 10am-12pm with NJ Department of Agriculture and NJ Department of Health. Recent changes in administrative policy will allow urban growers and smallholder farms with less than 5 acres to participate as vendors in the WIC/Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program.

Staff from both departments (health and agriculture) will lead the two-hour webinar to explain the new rules and requirements for urban growers. Presentations from NRCS and Rutgers will offer growers additional information on soil and water testing at their sites.
