I'm now volunteering as a co-leader for the Irvington International 4-H Club, which consists of about a dozen 11th and 12th graders from Irvington High School. These bright students consist of a diverse group of honor students or those who simply enjoy getting involved in extracurricular activities.
I meet with them every Friday from 3:30pm to 5:00pm at the Irvington Public Library. My goal is to provide a liberal arts curriculum as a means to assist with the development of their 4-H public presentations. This is a yearly competition, which will be held in May.
Why am I sharing all of this with you? Well, it would be great if any of you, as time permits, could give this group a presentation on whatever interest you. It's also a great opportunity to interact with some really bright high school students.
