Subject: Newark SAS Supports Energy March
Please share far and wide.....Buses are leaving from Newark!

Dear Tobias,

We’re just two weeks away from the largest march ever to ban fracking and to swiftly and justly transition to 100% renewable energy – The March for a Clean Energy Revolution!  There are over 15 buses, train, and car pools filling with people leaving from around New Jersey and dozens more from across the country, including a group traveling all the way from California!

We’re doing one final recruitment push. Will you send an email to your member lists inviting them to join a bus, train or car pool? Copy and paste the version below or write your own, but be sure to include the link!

Thanks for being a part of this!

All,

On the eve of the Democratic National Convention, July 24th, in Philadelphia thousands will march for action to prevent climate catastrophe and present these demands directly to current and future policy makers:
  • Ban Fracking Now
  • Keep Fossil Fuels in the Ground
  • Stop Dirty Energy
  • Environmental Justice for All
  • Quickly and Justly Transition to 100% Renewable Energy
For our future and our children’s future, we must stop the expansion and reliance on fossil fuels and instead swiftly advance renewable energy. Renewables and efficiency are the clean energy solutions we need to combat climate change and create millions of new jobs that will strengthen our economy. With the eyes of the world on Philadelphia, now is the time for us to come together as a united national movement.

There are over 15 buses, train, and car pools filling with people leaving from around New Jersey. You can find transportation near you and sign up at: http://www.cleanenergymarch.org/transportation

Hope to see you there!
