Participants will have the opportunity to exhibit, meet, and dialogue to exchange resources, ideas, and experiences. Jose German, a Montclair resident and organizer of the event, has been working with many organizations in northern and central New Jersey and finds they have much in common. Jose German is the founder of the Northeast Earth Coalition. He stated that this is “a great opportunity for people to discover groups focusing on different environmental and sustainable projects in our region. More than 30 community groups attended the first Conference in January 16, 2016.

All are welcome at this exciting chance to celebrate our local efforts to improve the quality of life of our communities. The goal of the event is to discover each other to more effectively collaborate with the Great Work of our time - healing the earth so all life can thrive.

No matter which environmental or sustainability door one first comes through, we find we share the same values and vision about environmental protection, clean water and air pollution, renewable energy, and non-GMO safe food. We all want to make our communities more sustainable and eco-friendly.

The organizing committee involves both NEEC members and representatives of some of the many groups that will exhibit. All look forward to networking with other local activists. By the end of the day we hope for new partnerships to support each other in the Great Work of our challenging future.
