PLEASE SIGN OUR PETITION

Fairmount Heights Coalition (FHC) respectfully requests that PSE&G not build the proposed 4.95 acre switching station on Littleton Avenue and 11th Avnue in Newark, NJ.  We are petitioning that PSE&G build the switching station in another area that is not lcoated in a dense neighobhrood near people's homes.

There are reasons for concern about this project and how it has been handled to date:

• Creates Health and Safety risks including fires and pollution
• Raises environmental and social justice concerns
• Strips market value from existing homes and businesses
• Creates major negative urban design impacts
• Disregards the plan that took over two years to develop and had the input of over 1,000 residents
• Impairs the Urban League's neighborhood revitalization plans
