Subject: Volunteers Fair

I am writing to invite your organization to participate in a “community volunteer fair.” At this event, many different organizations will have the opportunity to reach new volunteers. This will be a great recruitment tool. Your organization will be connected directly with people searching for a cause to which they can volunteer their time and energy. 

At the same time, you will have the opportunity to raise public awareness of your mission. Throughout the day, each organization will be allowed five minutes to speak to the entire fair. In this time you can detail your mission, announce events, or encourage people to support your cause. Furthermore, you will be afforded networking opportunities, in a low-key environment.

I hope that you will join us. There is no cost to your organization. We are only asking for an optional donation of a “door prize,” related to your program, that can be awarded to those in attendance.

The event will take place SATURDAY, MAY 20, 2017, from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Ocean County Library in Toms River. The room will be available for setup at 9 am.
