ROOM FOR CHRIST
"And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him
in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger;
because there was no room for them in the inn."
...Luke 2: 7

There are many in this world who still do not want to make
room for Christ at Christmas, or any other time. Just as there
was no room for him in the inn, there is still "no room" for
Him, today, in the hearts of multitudes of souls.
In this busy season, there are people who still try to shut Jesus
out of their lives, just as they did over 2,000 years ago. The crowd
at Calvary shouted, "crucify Him" as they thought they could kill
the Lord, shut him out by placing his body in a tomb and rolling a
stone in the door to seal him away for good.
Yet, we know the plans of men were to no avail, for death could
not hold him in the grave. He had told them before his death
that if his temple was destroyed, after three days, He would
raise it up. Yet, they thought he spoke of the earthly temple
and did not realize he was telling them that he would rise
again. He was the resurrection and life, and still is today
for whosoever believeth upon Him.
God removed the stone to the tomb, and showed the
world that death could not shut out the Son of God.
Men man try to shut him out of their lives today, but
there will come a day of reckoning when they will
see the error of their ways.
From a Virgin's womb to the empty tomb, Christ came
forth victorious and lives forevermore. He is either
in our lives or is shut out by our actions. The question
today is one each heart will have to answer. "Is Jesus
Lord of your life?" If He is our Savior, we have access
to a heavenly home when Christ calls for us. The message
of CHRISTmas is found only in Christ.
Our prayer is that men will not shut out the Savior, but will
see that only He can change their hearts from being an
empty tomb to being a temple full of power and praise
to the glory of our Lord and Savior.
Blessings In Christ,
