DEFILED BUT CHANGED INTO NEW GARMENTS 7/09/10


Today I was pondering the truth that Jesus said we defile ourselves by
what we say and then I was thinking about the scripture in Revelations
about those who have not defiled their garments, but walk in white.


Matt 15:10-20

Then Jesus called to the crowd to come and hear. "Listen," he said,
"and try to understand. 11 It's not what goes into your mouth that
defiles you; you are defiled by the words that come out of your
mouth."


Then the disciples came to him and asked, "Do you realize you offended
the Pharisees by what you just said?" Jesus replied, "Every plant not
planted by my heavenly Father will be uprooted, so ignore them. They
are blind guides leading the blind, and if one blind person guides
another, they will both fall into a ditch." Then Peter said to Jesus,
"Explain to us the parable that says people aren't defiled by what
they eat."


"Don't you understand yet?" Jesus asked. "Anything you eat passes
through the stomach and then goes into the sewer. But the words you
speak come from the heart—that's what defiles you. For from the heart
come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, all sexual immorality, theft,
lying, and slander. These are what defile you. Eating with unwashed
hands will never defile you."

Rev 3:4-5 NKJV

You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their
garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy.
He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not
blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name
before My Father and before His angels.


UPDATE 7/22/10: Wayne and I listened a conference in Jerusalem where
Steven Shelley saw Joshua who was a high priest in the OT. The Lord
said that in the year 2010 He was going to come and seize our filthy
garments and clothe us in white garments. http://www.revival.org/

POEM: JOSHUA MY CHOSEN 2/12/05

Joshua stands before those who walk with Me,

Slimed and soiled from demonic activity.

The enemy accuses both day and night,

Heaping garbage and filth into the light.


My chosen faced the fire of hell’s fiery flames,

Dark fingers pointing and casting the blame.

Not a word did he speak in his own defense,

Embracing his failures with deep repentance.


Is this not My brand plucked from the fire,

Burning from coals of his deepest desires?

It never was about his own performance,

Casting shadows and a mixture of nuance.



Naked and stripped of all that was flesh,

His heart and soul having been threshed.

It is the Lord Your God that pounds His gavel.

No more shame, he’s beginning to unravel.



Wash him off with the blood of My Son,

Poured out for him in great victory won.

Stand him in garments of linen white.

Let nothing soil and let nothing blight.



He’s washed and pure with forgiveness complete,

Standing among men with great counsel of seat.

Signs and wonders from ruling thrones above,

These My holy ones, walk with My dove.



Take your place Joshua and keep My charge.

Walk in My Presence with authority enlarged.

Receive the jewel that was promised you,

Rare and treasured among only a few.



Seven eyes pierce the mantle on your shoulders.

My Spirit rests upon you, witnessed by elders.

Wisdom and counsel, understanding from light,

Knowledge is given and My Spirit of might.



You have learned to walk in the fear of Your Lord,

Knowing the stripes and bruises of Whom you adore.

Let no man touch thee lest he die from the fear,

Of opposing My holy one who walks with Me near.



Now walk worthy of what has been given to you,

The power of might and wisdom too.

Your counsel will be sought by many undeserved.

Your feet will take you to whom I would serve.



For you shall not judge by what you see,

But only from what you hear and see from Me.

I AM the righteous Who defends the poor,

Granting justice for the meek whose hearts are torn.



Declare My Word with the sword from your lips,

Bloody from the pain of a heart once ripped.

Slay the demonic rebels who defy My voice,

Having clearly denied and making their choice.



Those demons do cower at what you speak.

They tremble hearing secrets from what is leaked.

Righteousness and faithfulness wrap your waist.

The honey flows, pouring from what you taste.



Dear Joshua, My son, My beloved,

The one whom I have given My covenant.

Obey My Word and walk with Me

Into your inheritance, your destiny.



Zech 3:1-5 NKJV

Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of
the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to oppose him. And the
LORD said to Satan, "The LORD rebuke you, Satan! The LORD who has
chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the
fire?" Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing
before the Angel. Then He answered and spoke to those who stood before
Him, saying, "Take away the filthy garments from him." And to him He
said, "See, I have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe
you with rich robes." And I said, "Let them put a clean turban on his
head." So they put a clean turban on his head, and they put the
clothes on him. And the Angel of the LORD stood by.




Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, the Life, and He died for you.
