On Bouge Friday 10 February: BOF!

I'm really pleased to announce that we have Bof! coming to play for us on Friday 10th February. It's been years since we last had them to dance to at Primrose Hill

Bof! is a four-piece band specializing in traditional French and Breton dance music featuring Val Woollard (Bagpipes, Recorder, Flute, Desk bells), Simon Haines (Diatonic accordeons, Vocals), Phil Lyons (Acoustic guitar, Bass guitar, Vocals) and Breton singer Gwendal Moële. For 20+ years Bof! has played in folk clubs, for dance groups and at festivals in England and France, as well as organising regular French and Breton dance workshops and public dances in East Anglia.

Bof! will be supported as ever by Duo Mistral, with their expertise in music and dance from Auvergne and Bourbonnais to Corrèze and from Breizh to Béarn, and by our lovely regular On Bouge musicians.

Please bring nibbles and booze to share. 

Where: Heath Street Baptist Church, NW3 1DN (5 mins up the hill from Hampstead Tube Station - NOT Hampstead Heath!)
