Free Surgeries

Ghana make a difference; in collaboration with a US based medical outreach team and Ghanaian surgeons, they are organising free surgeries for interested clients at the Trauma and Specialist Hospital Winneba from Monday 6th - Friday 10th March. Specialities available are 

1. Plastic surgery 

2. Urology

3. Dental 

4. Orthopaedic 

5. Ophthalmology 

6. Podiatric surgery 

Kindly forward interested patients  ASAP.

Currently, there aren't  enough patients for the over 20 or so medical team arriving.Anyone interested can go to the Trauma and Specialist Hospital, Winneba and ask for the Clinical Coordinators Office and express interest in the Medical Outreach. 

There is no hospital cost provided the person has an Insurance policy including NHIS. If not, the NGO will register the person on the spot and the Central Region NHIS will cover the bill. 

Transportation and accommodation is at the patient's expense. 

Screening will continue till the team arrives and confirms the eligible patients on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th March. 

Surgery is from Monday 6th to Friday 10th March. Pls inform your friends and family.
