Scantron Launches Insight 20

Friends here is new scanner information from Scantron . Right now I
have not used it or seen yet but surely would be writing on this
shortly . May be next month .. But by the time please find some
details found from their website

The iNSIGHT 20 is a document imaging / OMR scanner. It takes a color
document imaging scanner and imbeds the Scantron grayscale OMR
technology into it. This creates a unique scanner that can cross
between a
traditional OMR scanner and a traditional document imaging scanner in
one piece of equipment.
The iNSIGHT 20 scanner is a dual head document imaging scanner with
full grayscale OMR capabilities. It is supported by ScanTools® Plus
and
operates at 1,800 sph. It provides Scantron with a low-speed scanner
with
the same image processing capabilities as the iNSIGHT 2/4, 30, 70 and
150.
Click&Scan Software is included and is used outside of ScanTools Plus
software:
• Provides ‘oneclick’ functionality for scanning to E-Mail, file or
other document imaging applications.
3rd Party Software
• Since the iNSIGHT 20 scanner utilizes a white light source with
a full color read head at a resolution capability of up to 1200 dpi
and provides a TWAIN driver, it is compatible with numerous
3rd party software packages (for image processing only, not
OMR processing). 3rd party software packages that want to use
the iNSIGHT 20 scanner for grayscale OMR processing must
use ScanTools Plus Link SDK
