Dear Omnipath team,

I am trying to install pypath module on Windows. I have followed the instructions on https://github.com/saezlab/pypath#microsoft-windows and installed each package successfully. However, I get an error when I tested with pa = pypath.PyPath(). The error message is AttributeError: module 'pypath' has no attribute 'PyPath'. I am installing on Windows 10 and python version 3.7. I am new to the installation process so let me know if you need further information to diagnose the problem. Thank you very much for your help.

Best regards,
Chen-Yu

Dear Chen-Yu,

Pypath changed a lot over the past months, the `PyPath` object is now
accessible from the `main` module:

from pypath import main
pa = main.PyPath()

This is because the module became highly modular, we don't import all
submodules by default.

Please see our up to date new tutorial:

http://pypath.omnipathdb.org/notebooks/pypath_guide.html

Best wishes,

Denes

Hi Dénes,

Should not we update then the text on the GitHub?
We should properly document all these changes. My feeling is that one such email is a sign for 5-10 times more  people who tried it but did not write to us.

Thanks,
Tamas

Hi Tamas,

You are right, although I update it sometimes we are lagging behind
with it, but soon I will revise thoroughly.

Best,

Denes
