Hai all,
I am totally a beginner to the omnet++-veins framework.   I want to set an additional field called priority to the existing BSM message format. Can anyone please help me to work with that? Also, I want to know where I can obtain the values of the fields we set in the BSM message. For example the values like sender position, sender velocity etc. Can anyone please give me the explanation of the file I attached here. Expecting a quick reply. Thanks in advance.

Your questions are covered in the introductory sections of the OMNeT++ manual. If you are new to OMNeT++, you will also find the OMNeT++ TicToc tutorial to be very helpful. It teaches basic concepts like what goes into which file, how to add fields to messages, and how to set/read these fields.

Best,

Christoph

Sir,

I imported project Veins into omnetpp and run the example program. I want to make modifications in this example program but the cpp file is not in the examples/veins folder. Then where can I make the modifications to add extra message contents? Expecting your reply. Thank you.

Your questions are covered in the introductory sections of the OMNeT++ manual. If you are new to OMNeT++, you will also find the OMNeT++ TicToc tutorial to be very helpful. It teaches basic concepts like how to use signals and direct scalar and vector recording methods in C++ to write to OMNeT++ result files (.sca and .vec).

Sir,

Can we integrate omnetpp and Matlab? How can I generate a fuzzy decision from the vector file generated as the result of the example program? Expecting your reply. Thanking in advance.
