Multi channel MAC in MiXiM

Hello all,

I would like to know if MiXiM has a Multi-channel MAC example. If not,
what are the steps needed to implement a muti-channel example in
MiXiM.

There exists a Mac80211MultiChannel mac and a corresponding decider
(Decider80211MultiChannel) which you can use for your example (a MiXiM
example does not exists). If you mean another Multi-channel mac like a
dual-channel mac (send and receive on two channels at same time) then
you need some more modifications. Maybe it is also possible to create
a multi-nic constructed from two single channel nics and merging the
results in a multi-nic-mac...

thank you for your answer. For now i'm not interested in simulating a
multi-channel mac with full duplex capabilities. Even though, the
Multi-channel mac like a
dual-channel mac it's a good idea. I'm going to try to run the
Mac80211MultiChannel and corresponding Decider.

I am new to omnet. I also see the multichannel802.11.cc. However, I do not quite understand. is this file describe the mac with a control channel and a serial of data channel? thus all rts/cts are sent on control channel and data is sent on data channel ?
