You can let 2.4 in the channelControl but you must set 5.4 in the interface node, because it is in the node were the received power and bit error are computed and both are dependents from the frequency.
And don’t use Trivellato table, this table is for 11g

If you set the parameter maxDistance the code sets the sensitivity and adjust it, in other case the code will use the sensitivity that is configured.
