Hi,

I hav problem with INET examples. Actually i am using INET framework with OMNet 4. I have already installed INET with OMNet 4 and sucessfull in execution pf example of INET framework.

Now i want to change examples of INET framework as per my need. But when I see the example folder of INET framework, it don't hav..cc files. Where I can find .cc code of INET examples to their behavior as per my need. Can anyone recommend some literature explaining the working of INET with OMNet. OR any other example code explaining the use of INET. Becoz INET don't hav it any  help (manual) and OMNet manual don't have any such information about INET.

Thanking u in anticipation.........

Inet source code:

http://github.com/inet-framework/inet

Inet documentation:

http://www.omnetpp.org/doc/INET/neddoc/index.html

(both are the first google results to each search)

please help me. Which  Linux and other Unix-like systems is best for the OMNeT++ 4.0 software ?

Best regards,

Linux is definitely the best choice as the IDE is not supported on other Unix systems (except Mac OS).
Internally we are using ubuntu during development, but every modern linux distro should be ok.

to OMNeT++ Users
HI Babar,

I am an beginner and have encountered the same question you have. But I read according to the INET manual, it's "Simple modules contain the algorithms of the model. The user implements the simple modules in C++, using the OMNeT++ simulation class library." So I guess each function or .cc code hide themselves in the /src directory tree. And if we want to change the functions, we have to go deep into the specific .cc to modify. How do you think?
