Type recipe for target 'checkmakefiles' failed

Hi All,

I am new to Omnet and Inet. Recently I downloaded the Inetmanet framework from https://github.com/aarizaq/inetmanet-3.x. I tried running the Net80211_aodv.ned example and tried to use the DSDV and OLSR protocols in this example by changing the routingProtocol parameter in the .ini file. I have 2 issues.

1) I am getting this error, recipe for 'checkmakefiles' failed and i am not able to clear it. I searched this group for any previous similar queries but did not find any. I am using ubuntu 16.04 and Omnet++5.0. I am doing anything wrong?Or how do i go about this problem?

2) When I tired to run the make all command, I get this error, "Makefile:23: recipe for target 'allmodes' failed". Is there by any chance, that due to this error that I am getting this checkmakefiles error? I am held up at this step and not able to proceed further. It would be really kind of you, if you can help me solve this issue and your time and efforts will be appreciated.

Disable Visualization

Hi Sir,

Thank you for the reply. I disabled the visualization and the error remains the same. I get an error saying "IntegratedCanvasVisualizer" module dosen't exit and have many warnings now.

Hi Sir,

Humbly appreciating your help. I downloaded omnet 5.1 as you suggested but now I get a new error when I try running DSDV for the same example.

Kindly help me resolve the above issue since I have been trying to learn about the pro-active routing protocols DSDV and OLSR using omnet++ but its not working.
