Integrating Real Application in Omnet++

Hello everyone,

I am doing a project on Ad hoc networks , and I need suggestions on
integrating a real application in such a network simulation . The
application is IDS like, and should be able to change the scenario
during the course of the simulation (e.g. add a node, change the
position of a node, drop a link), send/receive packets to/from the
simulated network obtain the simulation results.
