Convergence of OSPF protocol

Hi all,

I have to check how fast OSPF protocol returning to normal state after
change of all link cost between routers (weight system). How fast OSPF
updating routing tables after change. Is it possible to examine using
Omnet++ with Inet Framework. I was planning to change one of the
examples included into INET package. What I ask is it possible to
change cost of link(interface) during the simulation and how to do it?
Secondly how examine the time at which the boards are updated (how
measure the convergence time)?

If anybody have different idea for measure the convergence time will
be very grateful for helping me.
