It's called sarcasm. He did not mean to be payed.

What I think Andreas wanted to say is, that people who ask to be
guided - and that are lots of people lately - simply try to steal
other peoples time.

OMNeT++ is very well documented, especially the process of
implementing ones own simulation model or communication algorithm. And
the INET-Framework that usually will be the base of implementing a
communication protocoll is also quiet good documented. And there are
lots of implemented protocolls in there to learn from.

So start by reading through the manuals, try the tutorials, have a
look into the code. That's what gets you started, nothing else.

If you have special questions, look harder into the manual, code, etc.
And if you can still not answer your question, you can ask here. But
nobody has the time to "guide" anybody. We all have our lifes to
live...

Hi ,
I was also wondering why there is no any TDMA  implementation available in the OMNeT++. As long as i know that other simulators also don't  have any. so maybe it is good idea to implement simple one in omnetpp!. Does it really complected  to implement one? As long as I know that the TDMA is nothing than assigning time slot to each host + time synch. or what do you people thing?
Kind regards
 R.

Some comments,

First OMNeT++ is an extensible, modular, component-based C++ event driven simulator (which can be used for modeling almost every system based on events) on top of which some people have developed really great frameworks like INET, mobility framework, etc ... based on their own needs and sharing this with the community (I take the opportunity here to thank all of them for their great work !)
So now if you need to implement TDMA (time division multiple access) and it is not available from this community on OMNeT just take this opportunity to develop it and share it. But just asking other to do it for you will not work

Regards

Patrick

Hansini

are you asking for the whole tdma functionality or just need to generate a tdm frame, because the second one is very simple...

regards
Omar

i m trying to develop whole tdma functionality. i have some problem in
server side that for 2 frame its going in sequence but after that it
take data in random manner . i m not able to find why its happen

i don´t know what  type of network  you have programmed in omnet++ but i suggest to run the program in tkenv (GUI mode) using step-by-step execution....

-- probably you have a problem with the synchronism of your network, take a look at the FES or event´s (messages) priority !!
