Energy consumption, Throughput, Delay Calculation

Hi All, hope so that you all are fine……😊
Can you please help me to calculate energy consumption, delay, throughput  for CSMA protocol in Omnet++……
I know that there is a mechanism to check energy consumption by using battery module of Omnet++…..,but I want to do it using formulae…….
If you have any formula or example to calculate these important parameter, then please send me, I will be thankful to you

delay+=simTime().dbl() - msg->getTimestamp().dbl();
Throughput is shown as scalar in file general.anf

Is it end to end delay or overall delay

hi majeed,

you mentioned in your post that there is a method to check energy using battery module. can you be more specific ?? i also need to calculate energy for optical devices but i have no idea how to do that.

Hi, 

I'm working on the some routing protocol in VANET such as ( AODV ) .. I want to calculate the (end to end delay , PDR and so .. Can you advice me plz ) .... Thanks
