In omnetpp, is there support to build a protocol stack for DNP3 over TCP/IP? DNP3 is Distributed Network Protocol which is used for communications in power systems or smart grids. My research is based on smart grids and so I need to simulate different use cases that have nodes communicating using DNP3 protocol over TCP/UDP sessions.
Please provide any help that will provide me a good direction for simulating communications in power systems. I have heard that omnetpp has been used a lot in smart grid area, but I currently do not see support for DNP3 protocol that intelligent power devices like IED's and RTU's speak.
Any small help will be appreciated and will help me a lot for my research work.
