hi all,
I am looking to calculate the channel occupancy (congestion level) of the CCH for lets say the past 1 second in order to implement my power control protocol logic.
Does Veins provide any built in functionality to acquire the clear channel assessment (CCA) mechanism, which could be used for judging congestion ?

any hint regarding such implementing such functionality would be very useful.

thanks

Yes, Veins can track the channel busy time, which we use for, e.g., the
ETSI ITS G5 DCC.

For inspiration on how to do this, see statsTotalBusyTime [1] or
sigChannelBusy [2] of Mac1609_4.

Best,

Christoph
