As senior computer engineering students from Bogazici University/Istanbul-Turkey, we are kindly requesting your help about a specific topic in OMNET++.

We are working on optimizing power consumption in networks as our senior project. We are requested to generate INET and GTI-TM topologies by using omnet++, and we want to take node positions and connectivity information as text file.

We installed OMNET++ on linux platform, it makes network simulation normally, however we couldn't generated node positions and connectivity info as text file.

Our question is, do you know how to generate text file from the OMNET++? Can you offer any document to help us?

I am attaching the example connectivity matrix and node coordinates generated for Waxmann.

Thank you for your help.
Best regards

At the end of the day OMNeT++ is just a C++ library linked to your program. You can use the standard C++/C API to read/write files as normal users would do. I would also strongly suggest to take a look at the "wizards" example which lets you generate several different topoligies based on different file formats...

but i am getting difficulty in implementing multiplexing using omnet++.
If u know about it. pls help.
