Issue with installation of Simu5G, System specs

Hi,

I'm Krishi currently a graduate student pursuing my MS in the US. I've been looking forward to exploring network simulations using Simu5G. Currently I'm stuck with the proper installation of the software on my system. I have tried it on various systems and end up with some build issue either with SIMU5G or INETframework. I wanted to enquire whether my system specs are the cause to these issues, I have tried doing it on the following system specs

1) Windows 11- here OMNET++ and INET are being installed perfectly, but issues come when tried to build SIMU5G over them

2) Ubuntu 20 (Using a Virtual Machine on my Windows PC for this allocated with 100GB storage space)- Here INET framework build fails.

3) MAC OS (intel-based): Haven't tried on this yet, looking to work on this right now.

Any ideas as to if my systems specs are the issue?

i don't think the issue is with your system
what version of omnet and init you are using?

since you successfully install them on windows i think the problem is with the versions

Try to use omnet 5.6 with same init you are using

Please use the latest version of omnet and INET. I.e. OMNeT++ 6.0 rc2 and INET 4.3.7. Those are tested and working. As for Simu5G, I'M not sure what version is working.

Hello, as reported in the website (http://simu5g.org/install.html), at the moment Simu5G works with OMNeT++ 6.0pre11 and INET 4.3.2.
