Hi,

is there any simulation model or something like that to simulate a Controller Area Network Bus?
I already searched the web but couldn't find anything.

Dear jongbeom,

we are currently preparing to release our CAN and FlexRay bus model. You can expect a stable release in late summer, until then we will hopefully have some preliminary versions for testing ready. We don't want to give the source out until the interfaces are fixed as changes would be really annoying for the users, but I can ask the students when we can provide a first release candidate.

Best Regards

Dear Till,

Is it possible to have access to one of this preliminary versions?

We will release a preliminary version in the next two or three weeks. Currently not all aspects are properly tested and we have still some ongoing changes in the interfaces. Is it possible for you to wait these two weeks? We don't want to annoy you with too many nasty bugs :)

Best regarts

Can you give me some more details on your problems? There is an example folder with several examples.

Hi Thank you for your answer.
I can't simulate any example of this folder. I get this error message :
"Environment variables:
PATH=;C:/omnetpp-4.5/inet/src;C:\omnetpp-4.5\bin;C:\omnetpp-4.5\msys\bin;C:\omnetpp-4.5\mingw\bin;C:/omnetpp-4.5/ide/jre/bin/client;C:/omnetpp-4.5/ide/jre/bin;C:/omnetpp-4.5/ide/jre/lib/i386;C:\Windows\system32;C:\Windows;C:\Windows\System32\Wbem;C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\;C:\Program Files\WIDCOMM\Bluetooth Software\;C:\Program Files\WIDCOMM\Bluetooth Software\syswow64;c:\Program Files (x86)\ATI Technologies\ATI.ACE\Core-Static;C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Roxio Shared\10.0\DLLShared\;C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Roxio Shared\DLLShared\;C:\Program Files\Intel\WiFi\bin\;C:\Program Files\Common Files\Intel\WirelessCommon\;omnetpp-dir\bin;C:\Program Files (x86)\QuickTime\QTSystem\;C:\omnetpp-4.5\ide;

How to do? thank you

These are only your Environment variables. I don't see an error there. Can you post some more lines of the output? What are you doing to start the simulation?

That is strange, it asks for inet. But FiCo4OMNeT does not require inet. Can you have a look what is selected in "Referenced Projects" in the project settings?

If you intentionally selected inet in the referenced projects be sure that it was build and you find the libinet.dll in src folder.

Probably you have to turn of parallel build in the project settings ("C/C++ Build -> Behavior tab -> Enable parallel build) or update your OMNeT ++ to 4.6. This is a known problem in OMNeT++ 4.5
