I am trying to import the INET framework into OMNeT++ to be used
within the IDE. I get to the 'Import' screen, select the root
directory, which then fills the 'Projects' box. The IDE, however, does
not allow the 'Finish' button to be selected and the project cannot be
imported or built. The only button which can be selected is the
'Cancel' one. Has anyone any suggestions as to how to resolve this
problem to allow the INET framework to be used within OMNeT++?

I have also tried installing OMNeT++ 4.0p1 but the IDE remains the
same, without allowing the 'Finish' option to be selected. I have
extracted the INET framework into a folder containing OMNeT++, and the
root directory I am attemping to import is the root inet-framework.
Should I be building the INET framework before I try to import it?

This has nothing to do with the patch 4.0p1 contains...

And is the "inet" project checked (selected) in the "Projects" listbox?
Otherwise the "Finish" button will be disabled of course.

Hi Rudolf,

I had applied the patch to the initial version 4.0 and I had also
uninstalled xulrunner 1.9, but I couldn't get OMNeT++ working. The
"inet" project was selected in the "Projects" listbox.

I am happy to say, however, that version 4.0p1 now works - when I
posted my second message, the library paths were still set to the 4.0
installation. Since correcting this, I am now able to import INET and
run the example simulations.

Thank-you,

Cathryn
