Topology generation OMNET/INET

Hi everybody,

I implemented a protocol using OMNET++/INET  and i want to simulate my protocol with several nodes (1000 nodes). 

Someone can help me how can I generate a topology like internet for example with 1000 nodes?

File->New->Network Description File (NED)

Give it a name. Next >

Topology Generation -> Random Topology (or the other).

Make your nodes to Standard Hosts, add whatever else you need. Add your protocol where it belongs. Have a look at the tcp apps in INET to generate traffic.

Hi Michael, 
I have inet and mixim in omnetpp 4.3. I want to generate graph of random N number of nodes deployment in area of X x Y. lateron I need to use this topology for sensor networks. 

I cannot find a way to do it with above tools. Could you please let me know a way. Or any topology generator to achieve above.
