[Omnetpp-l] How to calculate packet jitter in Omnet

I want to measure the jitter of UDP packets that arrive at the host with some variabilty in their arrival time.
 
Can anyone help me as to the best way to measure jitter in the omnet env and/or if can provide me with a code/script snippet that would help calculate jitter.

If you define jitter as the standard deviation of interarrival times, then
it's not too difficult: on each arrival, calculate the interval since the
previous arrival, and feed it into a cStdDev object.
