how to start studying omnet?

hi,
i am a student of me entc. my project is implementation in omnet. i
have 8 days deadline for studying oment.i dont know how to start
studying oment. please help me and give me guidelines about starting
studying it. kindly advice what should i read first and how to
proceed.

I think the OMNeT++ Manual is great, you can read it and learn some basic examples in OMNeT++.
