Hi,

My question is related to the analysis of data collected during multiple runs. I mean is it possible to have mean of certain parameter e.g. latency for all the multiple runs (e.g. 30 runs).

To make it more clear. Let’s suppose i run the simulation thrice and have cOutVector of Latency. How to have a mean of latency from three runs through computation in OMNET++. Is it possible?

Run1: mean (latency)

Run2: mean (latency)

Run3: mean (latency)

Mean of latency for three runs.

Please update?

Thank you for your time.

Best wishes & regards,

Should be possible. If you open the result files with omnet it should display the mean of the latencies if all parameters besides the "repeat" parameter are the same. An additional possibility is to write an R script. There you could specifiy what you need exactly but its not that trivial: https://github.com/omnetpp/omnetpp-resultfiles/wiki/Tutorial-for-the-omnetpp-r-package

Thank you so much for the help.

I think this R script will solve my problem. But i am still confused that how to install it in Window 7? Where to write this script in my OMNET++ project? How to run this script?

Actually, this is my first time of script programming? Please guide and also send me the link for downloading this R package.

Thank you for your time.

Hi,

I was able to install R window based package. Later, i installed the omnetpp_0.2-1.zip through local package of zip file option.

But when i was using the instruction.
> require(omnetpp)
I got the following error, please help and guide me.

Loading required package: omnetpp
Failed with error:  ‘package ‘omnetpp’ was built before R 3.0.0: please re-install it’

Thank yo so much for your time.

Can you please suggest and guide me for this particular problem?

OMNETPP version is 4.2.2.
R software version is 3.0.2

Thank you so much for your time.
