SUMO installation trouble

I am getting below error on mac osx

praneeth:~ Praneeth$ sudo port install sumo
--->  Computing dependencies for sumo
Error: Can't install xercesc3 because conflicting ports are active: xercesc
Error: Follow https://guide.macports.org/#project.tickets to report a bug.
Error: Processing of port sumo failed

XCode and all per-requesites are installed as per mentioned in the website

please guide for installation
