Hello everybody,

I have implemented my Vanet project on omnet, and when I try to execute it asks me to insert the different parameters such as:

 'scenario.connectionManager.sendDirect',

 'scenario.connectionManager.pMax',

 'scenario.connectionManager.sat',

'scenario.connectionManager.alpa',

 'scenario.connectionManager.carrierFrequency'

 'scenario.connectionManager.launchConfig'.

And when I try to give the parameters manually, precisely for 'scenario.connectionManager.launchConfig'  when I give map.launchd.xml as an input I have this error :

<!> Error in module (TraCIScenarioManagerLaunchd) scenario.manager (id=4) during network setup: Wrong value `map.launchd.xml' for parameter `scenario.manager.launchConfig': syntax error, unexpected '.', expecting $end.

Can someone  help me please????

Were you able to successfully do all steps of the Veins tutorial on
<http://veins.car2x.org/tutorial/>? If so, I suggest basing your
omnetpp.ini on the omnetpp.ini of the tutorial simulation. This way, you
won't have to manually input all parameters each time your simulation
starts.

Best,

Christoph

Hi,

Use the omnetpp.ini file as Christoph has said.
In the meantime, try to type: xmldoc("map.launch.xml") for that parameter.

Good morning,

Thank you for your response. I specified all the parameters in the .ini file but I still have the same problem. Now I try to create my project inside veins, maybe it will solve the problem.

Best Regards,
