Hello,

Can anyone help me how to run a simulation involving .ned, .ini and libraries all together.

Assuming that I dont have interface of the IDE. I tried this opp_run -u Cmdenv omnetpp_xt.ini, but this doesn't help for loading the .Ned files.

Second problem is: In one ini file I have 4 situations depending on how many nodes I choose(10,20,40,50).
I need to run the same simulation(ini file) for all different number of nodes. How can I run from the command line?

Any idea?

Tanks in advance.

Kind Regards

if you follow the instructions at http://www.omnetpp.org/doc/omnetpp40/manual/usman.html#sec285, you only need to set the run configuration (right-click on omnetpp.ini ): Just choose as user interface the Commandline, select your Config name and as run number you insert "*"

Hello Felix,

My question was actually there is no interface... I cannot do right click.
I want to run everything from the command line by only writing the run command.
It should be able to load the ini and ned files by itself.
Thanks.

Best,

You can refer to the following link:

http://www.omnetpp.org/pmwiki/index.php?n=Main.OmnetppInNutshell

What it says is " To run the simulation under the command-line (batch) user interface Cmdenv, specify the -u Cmdenv option"

Yes I have the same problem, I ran it normally from the interface by right click and run as, it is working fine. But Whenever I ran from the command line, I get the path error the same as Adib.

Any more idea?

Best,
