Thanks for the help.
Still, I am looking for a document that I could find such information in it. I am doing a project with Omnet and I might come up with many questions such as this one. Can you suggest any references? Can I find such information in "https://docs.omnetpp.org/"?

Hi Alfonso,
Regarding what you mentioned I used a different numbering scheme for the channels and it seems like it is working so I assume if I use channel 0 it would correspond to channel number 36 in the UNII-1 5GHZ band.
I was wondering where can I find documentation on this type of information in Omnet++.

Have you checked that the channel exists?
the number of channels is a function of the bandwidth
for 20MHz bandwidth the number of channels is 25, 40Mhz 12, 80MHz 8 and 160MHz 2.
If you have set 20MHz that is the default, 40 doesn't exist

Asunto: [Omnetpp-l] Assigning 5 GHz channels to stations in INET
I am trying to implement a Wi-Fi network with multiple access points in Omnet++ and I want to assign different channels to each set of stations for each access point. Based on the documentation and the examples it can be done in 2.4GHz like a charm but when I tried to use the same thing in 5GHZ I faced the following error:
Here is the line I used in the INI file:
*.sta0.wlan[*].radio.channelNumber = 40
I would appreciate it if someone can give me a comment on how to deal with it.
