I need to rebuild the entire INET framework if I only modify some files?.

Normally, only the changed files and files that depend on them are recompiled and (of course) the complete INET library is compiled/linked.
Files that you didn't touch do not need to be recompiled.
The IDE usually does the exact same thing... any problems that you've experienced there?

The OMNeT models imports the Inet library. I need add log to REDDropper model.
