Actually, I am working with OMNET and currently in the analysing data
stage , I found OMNET's visualization abit weak in case of
resolution, and as the format of lines are so limited, in addition
the legend can not be readable or is so lengthy
1. Generally, I was wondering which software or tools do you recommend
among the existing possible options for data analysis ( OMNET itself,
Excel, GNUplot, Matlab)?
OMNET:
1. Do you think OMNET itself (using dataset, vectors,...legend and
line formats in graphs and resolution) is good enough?
I love the user friendly converting the graphs by using COMPUTE and
APPLY to easily show the (mean, moving average, Diff,Intg. etc). But
the main difficulties is the matter of ART in how to fix the legend in
such a way that be consistent for all the graphs and it does not keep
changing after minor modification on the title or other part of the
graph!!!
2. Considering the Omnet limitation for having varieties of the LINE
format, any comments or suggestion to improve this feature of OMNET
in order to distinguish the lines in graph more clearly?

EXCEL:
3. As I found you have analysed your data using excel. Would you mind
to share with us how did you extract your vectors of data in Excel? my
question is about the options (comma,Tab,space ' or '',
precision,...) that is provided by OMNET wizard once you want to
exract your data to Excel format (please refer to the attached
snapshot of that wizard).
4. How about if the number of recorded row/datas is higher than .......
300?? ...is excel still working well?
5.As we know the OMNET is event-based and time is not always the same
for differnet recorded vectors; however I was wondering how did you
overcome this issue and show the results in a single graph for
comparing 2 parameters against of time or against of each otehr once
they have different POINT POINT TIME?!!!

6. how about GUN PLOT or MATLAB software any comment?
Thank you very much.
