Hello,

My name einai Glaros Ioannis, student from Greece doing my diploma
exercise and i need to do some simulation of 802.15 and more specific
on 802.15.4 and Zigbee but in mesh mobile infrastructure.

Is there any support with the mf2o4 or with some other module?...

Thank you!

or can i combine the 802.15 from mf2o4 with the mobility?...how is
this possible?....

Hi,

you can find an implementation of the non beacon-enabled mode of IEEE
802.15.4 in the csma module of mf2o4.
There is also a module which represents a NIC using a TI CC 2420 chip
running this csma MAC protocol.

Have a look at networks/ieee802154. You can change the mobility
parameters (currently the speed is set to zero and nothing moves) and
use another mobility module.

Regards

Jérôme

Merci Jerome,

Is there any Zigbee module, or can i implement it more or less by
changing the parameters?....

and on top of all with mesh ifrastructure?....

even some of the 802.15 with mesh infrastructure?....

This is the non beacon-enabled mode.
No architecture, radio always in reception except when transmitting.
You can't have large and mobile networks with the beacon-enabled mode of
IEEE 802.15.4. It was not designed for that.

Have a look at the example network, create your own from that. And then
change one thing after the other (begin by ini parameters and then maybe
modifying the ned models if needed) and look at how this impacts the
results.
