make Makefiles.

Hi,

I am trying to run the veins simulator for which i need omnet++. I am
following the tutorial under http://veins.car2x.org/tutorial/.

I am currently on Step 3 where i am trying to build inet-sommer.

However, everytime i do that i get an error stating "**** Build of
configuration gcc-debug for project inet-sommer ****

make MODE=debug CONFIGNAME=gcc-debug all

=======================================================================
src/Makefile does not exist. Please use "make makefiles" to generate
it!
=======================================================================

make: *** [checkmakefiles] Error 1

I ran make makefiles and make but in vain.

Can u please direct me to what i am missing out here ?

I am instaling omnet on windows 7 64 bit machine.

Omnet version 4.1

i have the same problem.
try to download 4.2 version

seem inet-sommer need at least 4.2 version

Thanks for reporting this issue! The most recent version of Veins does
indeed require the most recent versions of OMNeT++ (4.2) and SUMO
(0.13.1). I've updated the documentation to include this.

If you were unable to solve this problem by upgrading, or if I can help
in any other way, just let me know!

I have a couple of questions:

1. How do I link openssl to omnet projects on windows?

2. I keep getting this error with my make file: 'src/Makefile does not exist. Please use "make makefiles" to generate it!';

What I'm trying to do is run the "secure_mesh_routing" project (the PASER project)

I have omnet 5.0 and sumo 0.25  with OS X El Capitan 10.11.6. 

I am also getting the same issue .

it would be helpful we can get a brief summary on how you fixed it. It seems many people are encountering the same problem, in different version.
