IDE isn't coming up

Dear all, I installed omnetpp 5.1 successfully in ubuntu 16.04. However, IDE is not coming up, just show "Starting IDE..."..
Java is 1.8...I don't know what's wrong. if somebody has such an experience like me, please help me.

Are you using Oracle Java Developer Kit or the OpenJDK version?
Maybe try to change to the Oracle version.
Also, did you set the JAVA_HOME variable?
