Some Python modules required by the IDE were not found

Good morning all,

When installing OMNeT++ 6.0.1  and  6.0  on windows7  64 bit using the MINGW64 installer , i faced this error:
.....
checking if all necessary Python modules are available... no
configure: error: Some Python modules required by the IDE were not found: numpy
scipy pandas matplotlib

Any help would be appreciated.

For Windows you have to delete first  the PATHPYTHON environement variable often installed by some apps like SUMO ...and try /.configure again

Yeah. The setenv script picks up the system wide python path which causes issues. You can remove that from your global environment and you can also modify the setenv script not to pick it up. We will fix this for future versions to avoid confision.
