Qt simulation hangs

Hi,

I have a 32GB RAM system with more than 8 cores. Omnet++ (Windows host, Ubuntu guest) was running fine, till I left the simulation in a paused state for over a week, without any system restart. Ever since then, I keep getting, memory out-of-bound issues and the step and run Qtenv runs too slow, and the Qtenv hangs during the simulation run.

I have plenty of disk space, and RAM does not go beyond 80 percent, even if I have 5 other applications running parallelly.

What could be the reason for Qtenv running quite slow all of a sudden? How can I debug and solve this issue?
